DELHIWOOD 2017 exceeded exhibitors and visitor expectations. Whilst exhibitors were thrilled to meet over 25,935 visitors from 789 cities and 53 countries a 50% INCREASE in audience numbers from 2015, the visitors too had the opportunity to meet over 497 exhibitors from 30 countries housed in a whopping 28,000 sqmtrs state-of-the-art expo mart.

Over the last 15 years the woodworking community and ecosystem from India, the SAARC region, Asia & the rest of the world have placed their unreserved faith in INDIAWOOD, DELHIWOOD & MUMBAIWOOD to meet their business objectives. The 5th edition of DELHIWOOD held from 1 – 4 March 2017 at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida, once again vindicated the trust of the woodworking industry ecosystem by delivering a vibrant market platform that saw over 25,000 visitors interacting with 497 exhibitors from 30 countries during a packed 4 day event. The show generated great interest among buyers from 53 countries and 789 cities in India. 25,935 (50% increase compared to DelhiWood 2015) visitors clocked in to witness cutting edge technologies, solutions, accessories and raw materials from around the world. DELHIWOOD 2017, in its endeavour to be a knowledge platform hosted The Furniture and Fittings Skill Council (FFSC). Under the Aegis of PMKY FFSC conducted a 4-day orientation programme for SMEs, carpenters and craftsmen at the event. It also introduced the ‘Recognition of Prior Learning’ (RPL) scheme to carpenters from all parts of India. A special ‘Sourcing Forum’, held by WoodNews magazine, enabled more than 300 furniture manufacturers to interact with e-commerce entities to discuss online retailing and explore business opportunities. The first national conference of the Wood Plastic Composites (WPC) manufacturing industry was held during DelhiWood with more than 150 participants. An overall sense of confidence, progress and sustainability could be felt throughout the show floor. Buyers were eager to see new technology, connect with manufacturers, become educated on new trends, and discuss needs to expand their businesses through efficiency and productivity.
