India has the fourth largest railway systems in the world and now the country is moving towards marking a milestone in Rapid Transit System that consists of Metro, Rapid and High-Speed Rail System for better connectivity

As per Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, India is currently fifth-largest metro system in the world thriving to become the third-largest network. The Indian Urban Mass Transportation System also includes (Metro Rapid Transport System) MRTS, Light Rail Transport System (LRTS), Metro Lite, Metro Neo, Water Metro, Regional Rail, Suburban Rail and Pod taxis.
